About MCR
has specialized in the formulation, manufacture and distribution of SMC, BMC and AMC composite materials since its creation in 1982.
The thermoset semi-finished products manufactured by MCR meet the most stringent requirements of the industry. MCR is recognized as the European leader in the automotive industry: by raw material suppliers, moulders, and car manufacturers.
This recognition goes beyond the scope of the car and truck market with the supply of other markets and applications such as railway, energy, construction.
The composites proposed by MCR are based on polyester and vinylester technologies. The formulations are developed by the R&D team at MCR’s headquarters in the south of Lyon (France). For the European market, materials are produced in our French plant in Tournon sur Rhône. For the supply of American and Asian markets, the know-how is transferred for local industrialization.
